After four hours of private instruction, you'll be a paddling pro. Well, not really but you will feel more confident on paddles and concentrate on having fun instead of the how of managing the boat. Whether or not you've already discovered it is not as easy as it looks, sign up and learn:

• Proper stroke techniques that protect your shoulders, build your core and make you look really cool!
  
• Universal River Signals every paddler otter know
  
• How to transport a kayak
  
• What to buy and what not to let anyone talk you into buying (it's worth what you'll save on this alone!)
  
• Do's and dont's of the trickiest and most dangerous encounters on the rivers
  
• River protocols
  
• What to expect on a paddle with Paddle Adventures *Plus kayaking and canoe group
  
• Paddling lingo
  
• Lots of kayaking safety tips from years of experience and those of the American Canoe Association
  
• Get over your worst fear and practice an Oops! with an instructor close at hand
  

Classes held at session rates. While others offer lessons for less or free - please ask about their paddling history or ask around about their reputation as a paddler - it may be a case of the old adage: You get what you pay for. Learn good habits from the start, or unlearn ones that don't work. After our four hour session, if you are not satisfied I promise a money back guarantee.

It's fine to bring your own boat. No extra charge for kayak and gear if you need to borrow one.
