Hello, Michael, and welcome to the group. Your information, as well as ideas are welcome, too. My experience with leghorns is that, while they are regular egg-laying machines in the first year or two, their production tends to ease off later on. The breed is not known to be very broody, so even if you have a rooster or two your hens may not surprise you with a clutch of fuzzy baby chicks when you least expect or most need some.
Michael, greetings from Western Afghanistan! I've posted a photo of me in my new location. It's actually nice considering where I am. Just wanted to touch base & let you know that I'll most likely miss the 2012 canoeing season but I should be available for the 2013 season. Tell all that I miss the all the fun on the rivers & Putt-Putt & I will be back next year!
Regards,
CPT Kevin L. Carter
Hello Michael. We always enjoy having another paddler join in on the fun. I hope that you can come this way from TN, to paddle our NC waters. Also we would welcome any input from your direction as to a meeting spot over in TN. There are several of us that are nearer the NC/TN border, and would like to venture west to see some some new sights. Looking forward to meeting others from your area as well!
Welcome to our group Michael. Keep your eyes on our site, and come out and take a ride with us at our next get together.
Mike, are we planning to work from the boats around the shoreline, or are we working on land? Also, I may have some students that maybe interested in helping. Dave
Welcome Michael!

Thank you for welcoming me and The Nashville Clean Project! :)
