Any paddling experience, even distant past? And in what - canoe, kayak, other?
Ive been in a canoe many many time. Always flat water...lakes or a good fast river but never was into rapids.
If you can do ?? after the lesson you will feel like your money was well spent.

Welcome toCNL. I got a kayak this past summer and love getting out on the water. I am looking forward to spring and kayak season. Several people in the group also kayak so I am looking forward to many paddling opportunities ahead.
