Introduction
I want to learn how to kayak. I need to do more outside things. am from Biloxi, MS and miss the water. and there are so many water ways to play on here. so this is ideal for me. went white water rafting 2 yrs ago on the Ocoee and had a blast!
Any paddling experience, even distant past? And in what - canoe, kayak, other?
canoe, very distant past. childhood Girl Scout summer camp. & my best friend lived on the river, so we were constantly out skiing behind a skiff or the 24 ft Cris Craft. and white water rafting on the Ocoee 2 yrs ago.
If you can do ?? after the lesson you will feel like your money was well spent.
oh yeah!!! I am all for learning new things.
What motivates you to take the lesson?
boredom. plain & simple, boredom. and wanting to learn something new & fun... want to be back on the water!! being from a coastal toen and having spent most of life skiing and fisihng well, have not done gthat since been here.
What works best for you - evenings during the week, Saturday, Sunday? Please list all.
curently, I am open for any time, any day. am very flexible.

I love fireworks! I probably won't want to go into the crowds downtown, but I'm all for heading to a good overlook. Terry says there's a good spot to drive to from her place.

Hi Midge! Are you talking about the crawfish fest Glad you're going! I trust your opinion, since this will be a first for me - Have never tried it before! I have to work until 3 pm the day of, but should still be able to make it there by 4.

Midge!!! How are you? Sorry we've lost touch since the last time we attended the HipChicks event at Nero's! I'm starting to come out of my winter hibernation, and have a bit of spring fever, LOL! I haven't been to a meetup event since last summer, but am looking to attend a few soon. Let me know if you'll be attending any? I'd love to see you there!
