Introduction
Hello! My name is April and I just returned from the Ocoee with my Husband. We are very interested in learning to kayak in hopes of one day going down the Ocoee together:)
Any paddling experience, even distant past? And in what - canoe, kayak, other?
My parents have a canoe at their lake house and I have paddled around in that quite a few times in still waters.
If you can do ?? after the lesson you will feel like your money was well spent.
I will be happy if I can learn how to control a kayak and learn all the river language and terms necessary to communicate on the river.
What motivates you to take the lesson?
Ahhhh.... I've had 2 babies in the past 20 months and I'm so ready for some adventure and some relaxing and thrilling time with my husband. We are not into sports or TV so doing something outdoors and active is perfect for us.
What works best for you - evenings during the week, Saturday, Sunday? Please list all.
Weekend work best for us for sure. We both work during the week so the weekends are the only times we can break away and find a sitter.
