Introduction
Kayaks have been an interest for a long time, especially fishing. I've put it off since I'm an avid motorcycle rider and very involved in multiple organizations. I live near Peacy Priest, and feel this would be a good opportunity to relax.
Any paddling experience, even distant past? And in what - canoe, kayak, other?
Never been in a kayak, only once (horrible experience) in a canoe.
If you can do ?? after the lesson you will feel like your money was well spent.
Get the kayak in the water, learn basic strokes, and learn to manage transportation!
What motivates you to take the lesson?
Want to learn basics from someone proficient. I know they can pass on a lot of information quickly versus trying to learn it myself and probably incorrectly.
What works best for you - evenings during the week, Saturday, Sunday? Please list all.
Catch me if you can! I'll do my best to be available. Best is probably a Saturday or Sunday, but down time is prescious.
