Introduction
I'm in my second year of kayaking and love getting on the water with experienced paddlers like Leslie who enjoy the sport and teaching others.
Any paddling experience, even distant past? And in what - canoe, kayak, other?
I'm still a class 1+ paddler but am inching closer to kicking it up a notch. I have an Wilderness Systems Tsunami and a Liquid Logic Remix XP. Love em both.
If you can do ?? after the lesson you will feel like your money was well spent.
Navigate river bends and deal with avoiding strainers.
What motivates you to take the lesson?
I always feel like I learn something new in every class I take.

HR was pretty warm last weekend, some cold spots. Some people wore sleeveless wetsuits or hydroskins, but we spent a fair amount of time in the water practising things. Would be good to check with your group leader before you go as conditions can change. Might work to wear regular gear and bring splash wear if you get cold. Sun screen sure came in handy.
