I have found great joy and relaxation in my kayak. I moved to the Nashville area 2/2010, and love living and working in the area.
Growing up did some simple canoe paddling, but have really enjoyed the kayak on lakes and rivers over the last 2 years. Since moving here I have paddled several lakes and rivers- great scenery and great people.
I enjoyed my lesson and learned what to look for in a kayak.
Educating myself. There are too many options in kayaks, and I needed good hands on educaiton.
I can do evenings during the week, usually Wednesday is not available. If I am in town, Saturday works well, Sunday afternoon also works.
"I am married and live near Percy Priest Lake. I work for the agency of the United Methodist Church that promotes men's ministry and scouting ministry. "
I had a great time today. I learned a lot, and if I hadn't come I would have bought the wrong kayak. I can't wait to go with this group on a kayak adventure.

Hey Gill - that was a little odd. I got the message that your status changed to "going" (it always was going as far as I knew). Can't explain that, but you are good to go, got you on both lists as going and payment made, so you are all set. Looking forward to seeing you down there....
Hey Gil - I just upped the number to 50 and turned on the waiting list (I'm assuming a fairly high attrition rate, but if not, I think we can still handle it - parking's the main issue down there.) Sign up and plan on it - look forward to seeing you there. Mike
Absolutely! Sign up for the class, there's still room!
