Put your new paddling skills to work! Must be a graduate of the kayak lessons to attend as this is not a teaching paddle. Limited number of experienced paddlers with their own boats are welcome - please either join the group or be added as guests, your choice.
This is a beautiful, peaceful river and good for inexperienced paddlers. There is a small section to watch out for but we'll get through it. It's a long trip to the river at 73 miles and worth the drive.
Limit of five boats for rent at $35 each includes all gear. Meetup location emailed to attendees.
We'll eat lunch on the river. Please bring snacks, lunch, water, wear river shoes, sunscreen.
Your organizer's refund policy for Elk River Paddle
Refunds offered if:
- the Meetup is cancelled
Additional notes: Event canceled and money refunded if chance of rain is 80% or higher during time of the paddle
Payments you make go to the organizer, not to Meetup. You must make refund requests to the organizer.
