Let's begin your kayaking years with three hours of kayak lessons. You will learn to control and navigate a kayak where you want it to go, paddling safety, Universal River Signals, how to load and unload a boat, what to buy and not buy, and hot tips on kayaking. Boat and all gear provided for lesson at no extra charge. Children ages 8+ welcome to attend.
What to bring: Something to drink, shoes that can get wet and comfortable clothes
Location: Hamilton Creek Recreational Park, 2901 Bell Road, Nashville, TN
Please note: This is not the marina, and is not the exact address. Look for a brown sign, "Hamilton Creek Recreational Area" posted on Bell Road.
When you turn into Hamilton Creek Recreational Park off of Bell Road (Ned Shelton Road is across from Hamilton Creek Park Road), take the first right onto Heterodox View Ave. Go all the way to the end of the road and bear to the left away from the public pavilion.
